We are honored to share an upcoming opportunity for our community to gather for the East Texas Awakening Prayer Night. On Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, at 6 PM, the East Texas Pastors Fellowship will host a night of unified prayer at Calvary Commission in Lindale. This gathering is centered on the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14, inviting believers to humble themselves and seek God’s face so that He might hear, forgive, and heal our land. The need for prayer has never been clearer, and the time to act is now. This is a free community event with no registration required—simply come as you are and invite others as we seek the Lord together for the future of East Texas.

SHM Current Projects

Shepherd's Heart Help Fund

Since December 2023, the Shepherd’s Heart Help Fund has provided $95,620 to ministers and churches facing unexpected hardships. We’ve been blessed to assist retired pastors with car repairs and families needing roof replacements—reminding our shepherds they never walk alone.

You can support this vital work through the link below or by purchasing Dr. James Dill’s book; 100% of book proceeds go to SHM, with 60% designated specifically for the Help Fund. If you know a pastor in need, please reach out via our Contact Us page.

Ministry & Leadership Mentorship

Dr. James Dill has a passion for investing in the next generation of Christian leaders. Through one-on-one mentoring, he provides a trusted space for pastors and ministry leaders in the community to find wisdom, guidance, and support as they navigate the unique challenges of their calling.

His heart is to walk alongside them on their journey, helping them to grow spiritually, sharpen their leadership skills, and maintain a healthy, vibrant ministry. Dr. Dill offers a listening ear, a compassionate heart, and decades of experience to help leaders not only survive but thrive in their service to God’s kingdom.

The Encouragement Project

The Encouragement Project is a heartfelt initiative we launched in June of this year, with the goal of bringing joy and support to others through prayer and written notes. We’ve had the privilege of writing 182 personal messages of encouragement, reaching people in our community with a word of hope. We believe in the power of a personal touch, and each note is thoughtfully crafted after we’ve spent time in prayer for the recipient. This project is a tangible way for our team to demonstrate God’s love and uplift His people, one letter at a time.

Do you know a pastor, layperson, or nonprofit worker who could use some prayer and encouragement? Send us their information through our Contact Us page, and we’ll send them a personal note and lift them up in prayer.

A Story of Grace. A Lifeline for Leaders.

In his memoir, Undeniably, Indescribably, God!, Dr. James Dill shares the radical true story of divine intervention shaping a life of service. As you journey through these pages of miraculous provision, you are simultaneously providing a lifeline for others. Every book purchased serves as a direct investment into the health and stability of the global Church.

Financial Impact: 100% of book proceeds are designated for ministry: 60% provides emergency aid through the Shepherd’s Heart Help Fund, and 40% sustains the Shepherd’s Heart Ministry mentorship and outreach programs.
